Summer pre-throws a 14-16 ounce tumbler for you and your friends to carve designs into. The sky is the limit with this form of creative expression. You can carve anything from simple designs to words or complex images. Once your piece is fired, Summer will apply a glaze of your choice and then fire once again. Projects are typically ready in two weeks

You and your group will create a piece from start to finish. In your class request, please list 1-3 ideas for projects you would be interested in making. Once projects are dried, they will be fired, glazed and then fired again with a glaze that is chosen during the hand building class. Projects are typically ready in two weeks.

Get one-on-one time with Summer as you learn the basics of wheel throwing. You'll make your own custom-made bowls or mugs using our pottery wheels and some basic trimming tools.
